PAYMENT
We accept payment online by VISA and MasterCard. You may also pay ‘offline’ via Cheque and Postal Order (made payable to Realtime Technologies Ltd.) or Bank Transfer. VAT is charged at the current rate where applicable. Goods will only be dispatched once payment has been received in full. All products remain the property of Shimmer Research until payment is received in full. A credit account may be opened by corporate clients, subject to trade references and application approval, on the strict condition that payment is made within 30 days from date of invoice. Cancellation
Orders may be changed or cancelled up to 3 working days prior to delivery date requested.
To amend or cancel your order, please contact Shimmer Research on +353 1 8486112 from 8.00 am until 16:30pm Monday to Friday.
You are entitled to cancel any payment at any time where fraudulent use has been made of your credit or debit card by another person not acting on behalf of you or as your agent and to be re-credited by us to the extent that such sums are not reimbursed by the card issuer in such circumstances.

We at Shimmer Research are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003.
We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. We never give your details to any other person or company. Once your order has been processed our database will only be used to contact you or send you email in the future where you have consented by indicating this consent in our online order system. You can also indicate this consent by registering your details on our home page. We collect the following information during our order processing: Your name and address, phone number and or mobile number, e-mail address, credit card details and order history. If you consent by registration we collect the information you opt to enter. We never collect other sensitive information about you.
If you provided your details to us by telephone or in person this information will not be available online, although it will be retained in our back office database. Similarly, you can advise changes to your contact information and it will be amended immediately on request.

It is our intention to protect your privacy in the best ways we know. With this in mind we do intend to review and amend our privacy policy regularly, which may in turn see this document change to reflect our progress.
Delivery
The goods are delivered by courier to your address within a few working days (this depends on your location) after the order and payment have been received. We endeavour to ship within 3 working days of order receipt. You will receive a tracking number notification to your e-mail address. With the waybill number you can track your delivery. Please note: Deliveries take place between 8 am – 6 pm on weekdays.
On rare occasions Shimmer Research may not be able to deliver the ordered type of products, or the needed amount of products. Shimmer Research reserves the rights to cancel the delivery, or to postpone it. Shimmer Research evaluates the time period required for fulfilling the delivery of the order and informs the customer. The customer can then choose, whether to wait for the delivery, or to cancel the order and receive the paid money back immediately.
Returns
If you wish to put in a claim for any product purchased through Shimmer Research or claim for refund please follow the instructions herein:
- Please check your order/receipt as soon as it arrives to ensure you have received the intended content(s), in the right conditions. Please notify us, e-mail address: shop@shimmer-research.com immediately upon receipt, within two (2) business days of your receipt, of any missing or damaged packages and any other claims regarding other apparent defect or apparent non-conformity.
- Any hidden defects or hidden non-conformities should be notified to us, e-mail address shop@shimmer-research.com within thirty (30) days of discovery but no later than ninety (90) days of the delivery of the nonconforming or defective item.
Retain all contents, original packaging materials and shipping boxes. This is a prerequisite for filing the claim(s). (FAILURE TO DO SO CAN RESULT IN THE DENIAL OF YOUR CLAIM AND THE REFUND OR REPLACEMENT OF YOUR PURCHASE).
The sole remedy for defected, missing, damaged or in other ways non-conforming products is a replacement or refund of the sales price, whichever the Company deems appropriate. The Company has the right to decline returning any product that clearly has been abused or damaged.
