Description

The Shimmer Lab Development Kit Maxi provides developers with a comprehensive tool set to support rapid design, prototyping and implementation of wireless solutions based on the state of the art Shimmer platform. The kit provides a complete development environment for Bluetooth, IEEE 802.15.4, or local storage in body worn applications.

The kit includes six Shimmer Units and three Shimmer Docks and allows developers to build a wireless network solution to fit their application. Through Shimmer’s modular design, developers can also select from the range of sensor modules to connect to the three Shimmer units provided to enhance its sensing capabilities. With Shimmer’s integrated accelerometer and tilt/vibration sensor, the Lab Development Kit also provides three AnEx boards for easy prototyping of third party sensors.

Using the Shimmer Lab Development Kit Maxi enables the user to capture raw data and as it is supported by a range of development software tools and applications including LabVIEW and C# applications this ensures simplicity in the creation of wearable wireless solutions.
